Costumes, trick-or-treating, free food, and a Saturday afternoon at Laishley Park!

Ready to give those Halloween costumes an early outing? The Third Annual Neighborhood Fall Festival is coming to Laishley Park in Punta Gorda on Saturday, October 17, from noon to 4 p.m. Best of all, this family-friendly celebration is free to attend!

Hosted by the City of Punta Gorda and the Punta Gorda Chamber of Commerce, the festival brings neighbors together to celebrate fall and kick off the holiday season.

What’s Happening?

Families can look forward to:

  • Trick-or-treating — an early chance to enjoy some Halloween fun!
  • A costume contest — let your little superhero, princess, or spooky character show off their look.
  • Free food — a welcome bonus for a family afternoon out.
  • A dessert walk — another sweet part of the celebration.
  • Live entertainment — enjoy performances while exploring the festival.
  • A new Nonprofit Expo — meet local organizations and discover ways to get involved in the community.

Why We Love It

A free local outing with costumes, treats, and entertainment makes planning a family Saturday a little easier. It’s also a fun opportunity to connect with neighbors and learn more about the organizations serving our community.

Our parent tip: Bring a bag for trick-or-treating, water, and sunscreen — and keep your camera handy for those costume photos!
